According to the Washington Post, Washington Redskins G David Loverne started practice at left guard and Wilbert Brown started at right guard. Brown is taking snaps at right guard in case G Brenden Stai (knee) can't go. Stai didn't practice on Wednesday. "I'm still intending for Brenden Stai to play," OL coach Kim Helton said, "until he tells me he's not playing."

Updating an earlier story, Mark Maske reports for the Washington Post Washington Redskins starting RG Brenden Stai (knee) will probably miss this week's game. Stai said he is suffering from patella tendinitis in his left knee. Stai said he underwent an MRI exam yesterday and did not immediately know when he would be able to play. "It's nothing where I have to have surgery, I don't think . . . [but] there's no way I could go out there and play right now," said Stai. There is a possibility the team could move OL Wilbert Brown to right guard.
