Mark Zuckerman, of the Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins head coach Steve Spurrier said he does not know who will start at tailback for the Sunday, Nov. 23, game against the Miami Dolphins after an ineffective performance all around Sunday, Nov. 16, game against the Carolina Panthers. Redskins RB Trung Canidate has started every game in which he's been healthy this season, but had just 18 yards on 10 carries against Carolina. RB Rock Cartwright, one week after a career-best game, fumbled at the goal line. RB Ladell Betts (arm) continues to be sidelined with a fractured forearm and RB John Simon, who was signed two weeks ago, has yet to get any kind of extended look.

After his fumble in the first quarter, he was relegated to just kickoff return duties and it’s going to stay that way according to head coach Jeff Fisher. However, Fisher said he hasn’t lost confidence in Simon and he’ll be doing some punt returns for the team.
