The Denver Post reports the Denver Broncos visited with free agent TE Patrick Hape (Bucs) yesterday. With TE Byron Chamberlain testing the free agent market and TE Dwayne Carswell having some recent legal problems, the Broncos might need insurance at the position. Frerotte will be a free agent again after the 2001 season where he can shop again for a starting job. Given his relationship with Texans GM Charley Casserly he's sure to take a look at the expansion Texans.
