Mark Craig, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings FB Joey Goodspeed (knee) underwent surgery on his torn ACL Thursday, June 1. He will miss all of the 2006 season.

Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings FB Joey Goodspeed (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee Saturday afternoon, May 13, and almost certainly won't be available to play this season. Head coach Brad Childress said only that Goodspeed "hurt his knee," but a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the diagnosis.

Judd Zulgad, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings FB Joey Goodspeed (knee) injured his left knee during a pass play in the afternoon session Saturday, May 13. Goodspeed caught the ball but his knee buckled as he ran. He was unable to return, but was able to jog on the sideline.
