The Associated Press reports the Arizona Cardinals have reached inujury settlements with rookie WR Bobby Newcombe and OT Noberto Davidds-Garrido. Both players agreed to injury settlements after being placed on the injured reserve list on Sunday.

The team's official site reports Arizona Cardinals reserve LB James Folston will undergo a microdiskectomy later today. The procedure is to treat the aggravation of a pre-existing back condition. He is now expected to miss six-to-eight weeks of action. Updating an earlier report, rookie WR Bobby Newcombe suffered a fractured third lumbar transverse process in his back and he is week-to-week.

Jackson has looked better at WR, but Newcombe could earn the spot with a big showing as the team's punt returner.
