Head coach Jason Garrett's presence at the school's Pro Day - the only one he plans to attend - is a pretty good sign that one of those guys will be selected by the team.

The Dallas Cowboys have several assistant coaches without a contract for 2012, and head coach Jason Garrett is hopeful they'll be able to return. Secondary coach Dave Campo, Running game/offensive line coach Hudson Houck, Secondary/safeties coach Brett Maxie, assistant offensive line coach Wesley Phillips, offensive quality control/wide receivers coach Keith O'Quinn and running backs coach Skip Peete are the coaches who are without a deal. "I feel great about our staff and how we've worked really hard, and again, we'll address that at a later time," Garrett said Monday, Jan. 2.

"I would say he's the best head coach in the league because he's my head coach and he's the Cowboys' head coach," Ware said. "The guys feel even more strongly about him now because he's sticking with us and we're sticking with him. We're still motivating each other to get out there and play our hearts out. When coaches still drive players to play hard that's what you really want."

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett warned players that his first training camp will be more demanding than last summer's under former head coach Wade Phillips, according to Gerry Fraley, of The Dallas Morning News. "You have to earn it in training camp," Garrett said. "You lay the foundation for your football team in training camp. So it will be a physical training camp, it will be a demanding training camp. When we come out of it, we're going to feel like we're ready to embark on the challenges of a 16-game season." Phillips kept contact to a minimum during last summer's' training camp. The Cowboys responded with a 1-7 start, which led to Phillips' firing.

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports there is a suspicion in league circles that Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett could be offered and possibly accept the Baltimore Ravens' head coaching job in the next 24 hours.

Falcons | Team to interview Garrett a second time

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Atlanta Falcons will interview Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett for the second time Tuesday, Jan. 15, for their vacant head coaching job, unless Garrett is offered and accepts the Baltimore Ravens head coaching job before his meeting with the Falcons.
