"You have to earn it in training camp," Garrett said. "You lay the foundation for your football team in training camp. So it will be a physical training camp, it will be a demanding training camp. When we come out of it, we're going to feel like we're ready to embark on the challenges of a 16-game season." Phillips kept contact to a minimum during last summer's' training camp. The Cowboys responded with a 1-7 start, which led to Phillips' firing.
