The Boston Globe reports New England Patriots first round draft pick DL Richard Seymour is looking forward to joining the team and learning from its veteran players. One problem for the Patriots is there are not many vets on the roster at defensive tackle. Brandon Mitchell, Garrett Johnson, and Chuck Osborne are the only three, but the team is working to re-sign DT Henry Thomas, who may be the mentor Seymour needs. Seymour, who is only 21 years old, said he is still learning and still developing. Seymour said he knew little about the Patriots' style of play.
