Cowboys | Roster Moves

The team's official site reports the Dallas Cowboys released WRs Jason Tucker and Chris Brazzell along with various other roster moves. Brazzell was waived injured. WRs Damon Dunn (sprained knee) and Jeremaine Copeland (fractured clavicle) were also waived injured. The other cuts included LBs J.J. Jones and Ronnie Alexander, WR Chad Luttrull, DT Jamie Carter, S Travis Ortega and OT Chad Slaughter. Third-round draft pick DL Willie Blade (wrist) and CB Dwayne Goodrich were placed on injured reserve. The Cowboys also came to injury settlements with tight end Chris Fontenot (fractured wrist). Sixth-round draft pick, DT Daleroy Stewart, was placed on the PUP list.

Cowboys | MLB Battle Gone with Bowden's Release?

According to DallasCowboys.com, the release of LB Joe Bowden has almost assured LB Dat Nguyen the starting job at middle linebacker. Bowden was believed to be his biggest competition. The team worked rookie free agent J.J. Jones in at MLB with the second string during this morning's practice.
