Sean Jensen, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings DE Chuck Wiley is scheduled to start his second consecutive game Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Sept. 20. Wiley is replacing DE Kenny Mixon, who had received a two-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

Vikings.com reports the Minnesota Vikings will have a deep and solid defensive front, according to Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice. In addition to key veteran DTs Chris Hovan and Kevin Williams the Vikings moved LB Nick Rogers to defensive end, with emerging DE Chuck Wiley, and added rookie DLs Kenechi Udeze and Darrion Scott via the 2004 NFL Draft.
