Detroit Lions WR Mike Thomas and WR Brian Robiskie stayed after practice Monday, Nov. 19, along with WR Ryan Broyles, to work with backup QB Shaun Hill running routes and getting better acclimated to the offense. "It's a way to get new guys who come in throughout the year to get them reps and get me reps too and teach the offense at the same time," Hill said. All three are expected to see an increase in playing time with WR Titus Young to be inactive in Week 12 due to disciplinary reasons.

Schwartz added he may not reveal his starting quarterback until game time. QBs Drew Stanton (shoulder) and Shaun Hill (finger) are dealing with injuries, while QB Matthew Stafford (shoulder) remains on the mend and is not expected back this week. "Health of all the other quarterbacks, the availability of all the other quarterbacks, health of Drew - all those other things will go into it," Schwartz said when asked how he'll decide who starts. "We'll cross that bridge Wednesday when we get to it. You're not going to paint me into a corner on who the starter's going to be or what the criteria is going to be. We'll make the best decision for the football team and probably won't announce it until maybe Sunday."
