Joseph Duarte, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans RB Domanick Davis is expected to make his first NFL start Sunday, Oct. 19, against the New York Jets. Davis has been making a case to be the team's primary running back and his role has increased the past two games. Last week against the Tennessee Titans, Davis had 129 yards total offense. In the first four games of the season, Davis was used mostly as a third down back and when the Texans use three receivers.

TriStar Sports Management has informed KFFL that WR Nick Davis (Wisconsin) was timed at 4.40 in the 40-yard dash during Wednesday's pro day at Wisconsin. He had a 6.8 second three-cone drill, 36 1/2" vertical, 10'3" broad jump and bench pressed 225 lbs. 20 times.
