The Sun-Sentinel reports the Miami Dolphins tendered a one-year, $656,000 offer to restricted free agent DT Dario Romero. The Dolphins are guaranteed his rights in 2005 if Romero does not sign an offer sheet with another team by April 15. Miami would not receive any compensation for Romero, because he was not drafted.

Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins have tendered a one-year, $656,000 offer to restricted free agent DT Dario Romero. The club has the right to match any offer Romero receives, but would not receive any compensation since he entered the league as an undrafted free agent.

Miami Dolphins DT Dario Romero (illness) was inactive for the Week 13 game. Dolphins interim coach Jim Bates said Romero was sent home from the practice facility Monday, Dec. 6, because of a virus, but he should be able to play in Week 14.
