Updating earlier stories, the Associated Press reports Houston Texans S Leomont Evans (spinal cord) is continuing to improve Tuesday. Evans temporarily lost feeling in his arms and legs after a collision during Monday night's game. He walked in the hospital Tuesday after bruising his spinal cord Monday night.

Updating an earlier story, the Associated Press reports Houston Texans S Leomont Evans has a brusied spinal cord. A team spokesperson said Evans had regained some feeling in his upper body and both legs. Evans' breathing and vital signs as well as an MRI exam and CAT scan were normal, the spokesman said.

ABC reports Houston Texans S Leomont Evans (neck) had to be carted off the field after suffering an apparent neck injury during Monday night's pre-season game against the New York Giants. Evans was conscious shortly following the injury, but had no feeling in his arms and legs. He was transferred to a local hospital in Canton, Ohio for further testing.
