Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos S Marques Anderson was given a one-year contract extension upon his arrival with the team. The extension is a guarantee of a roster spot and a good start for Anderson in Denver. "Marques feels comfortable there and would like a little security," agent Peter Schaffer said. "It made sense."

"You know, it's almost a relief," Anderson said. "I'm ready to be a Denver Bronco (and) wear the orange and blue. We see the Raiders twice this year and that's one way that I can take a little frustration out."
