Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos FS Sam Brandon has been suspended for the first two games of the 2007 season for violating the NFL's conduct policy. The suspension stems from a domestic violence arrest. Brandon was arrested in June 2004 and July 2005 on domestic violence charges. Misdemeanor charges stemming from the earlier incident were dismissed.

The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos S Sam Brandon turned himself in to Douglas County court officials Wednesday, Sept. 27 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Brandon faces a charge of violating a restraining order and violation of his bond conditions, according to district attorney spokeswoman Kathleen Walsh. Both charges are misdemeanors and Brandon was released on a personal recognizance bond, despite objections from a prosecutor. He is due in court Nov. 17 for a pretrial conference on the new charges and a domestic violence case from July 2005.
