The Star-Telegram reports after almost a week of training camp, free safety remains a concern for the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Bill Parcells said Tuesday, August 2, that he still doesn't know if the potential starter opposite SS Roy Williams is on the current roster. "That is something that is probably the biggest area of discussion that we are having right now as a coaching staff -- not only what to do, but who to do it with," Parcells said. S Lynn Scott, who ended last season as the starter and is working with the first team, is considered a journeyman special teams player at best, Parcells said. S Izell Reese is a candidate as well, but he has always been considered a stop-gap answer at the position.
