MiamiDolphins.com reports the Miami Dolphins have signed LS Jeff Grau to a two-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Grau was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 25, after spending the entire 2002 season as long snapper for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Washington Times reports the Washington Redskins have had contract talks with several of their rookie draft picks. They were seventh-rounder FB Rock Cartwright, DE Greg Scott and LS Jeff Grau and sixth-round OT Reggie Coleman. Several of those players could sign as early as Monday.
