Browns | Still no sign of Wilson

Sat, 29 Jul 2006 00:12:31 -0700

Mike McLain, of the Tribune Chronicle, reports Cleveland Browns WR Travis Wilson, a third-round draft choice, remains the only unsigned rookie. Wilson, who struggled during the June minicamp, can't afford to miss many more practices. Head coach Romeo Crennel said Wilson is only hurting himself by staying away from training camp. "Let's say he stays out for two week," Crennel said. "If he stays out for two weeks, that gives (Joshua) Cribbs more of an opportunity. It gives Frisman Jackson more of an opportunity. We have a couple of free agents on the team. Whenever he gets here, he's further down the depth chart."
