Earlier reports had the Redskins interested in re-signing WR James Thrash who is about to become a free agent. Now, the Washington Times is reporting the team's inability to clear significant room below the salary cap before June 1 might cost the team a deal with Thrash. Agent Ray Anderson representing Thrash said his client will not wait around on the Redskins if they don't make him an immediate priority when free agency starts March 2. It is expected despite a number of moves now, the Redskins won't be able to create major cap relief until June 1. Bears sources confirmed an earlier SportsLine.com report about trade talks between the Bears and Redskins about DE Kenard Lang. The team has tendered one-year offers to all three of its' exclusive rights free agents, OG Derrick Fletcher, DE Derrick Ham and DB David Terrell.
