NFL.com reports Buffalo Bills reserve CB Kevin Thomas (knee) had surgery on his injured right knee for the second time this year and could miss the rest of the season. Head coach Mike Mularkey said Thomas had surgery two weeks ago. Mularkey referred to it as a clean-up procedure after the player initially had surgery to repair a broken bone during the spring. "I'm not giving up on him yet," Mularkey said. Thomas remains on the team's PUP list.

"He's done a great job at rehab," said Bills secondary coach Steve Szabo. "He's done everything they've asked him to do. I'm sure he's going to be ready for camp. NFL.com's Gil Brandt reports UNLV players held workouts Tuesday for about 15 NFL teams, mostly defensive line coaches to look at DE Anton Palepoi. The defensive end ran two 40s on a grass surface (4.78 and 4.85). He was able to bench press 26 times, had a 36 1/2 inch vertical jump and 9-foot, 9-inch long jump. He checked in at 6-3 5/8 and weighed 278 pounds. CB Kevin Thomas ran the 40 twice (4.50 and 4.58). He ran a third time, but the time was not good. S Sam Brandon ran a 4.68 "40." He checked in at 6-3 200-pounds.
