Mickey Spagnola reports for Dallas Cowboys.com any interest the team has in free agent DB Michael Booker (Titans) is mild interest at this point. Free agent CB Doug Evans (Panthers) has been linked to the Cowboys, but that seems to be more his agent calling the Cowboys than the Cowboys calling them.

According to the Nashville City Paper, agent Vann McElroy said he has yet to lineup any visits for his client, free agent DB Michael Booker (Titans). He said the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys are interested in him both at cornerback and safety. McElroy also said the Titans have not yet shut the door on a return for Booker to Tennessee.

The Titans Radio Network reports the Tennessee Titans have talked to free agent CB Michael Booker about returning to the team as a safety. GM Floyd Reese said that if they brought Booker back, he would probably be signed as a cornerback then worked on at safety from there.

The Tennessean reports Tennessee Titans OL Bruce Matthews and WR Chris Sanders are among the five players the Titans plan to leave unprotected for the Houston Texans' expansion draft next month. The other three includes CBs DeRon Jenkins and Michael Booker and DE Juqua Thomas.

The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher has named CB Donald Mitchell the starter at right cornerback in place of the injured Samari Rolle. He was chosen to start over veteran Michael Booker and second-round draft choice Andre Dyson, the only other healthy cornerbacks on the roster. "I'm sure all of the cornerbacks will play just because of the numbers we have," coach Jeff Fisher said.
