"If he felt like the time was right to come back for a day and retire with this uniform, I think everyone here wants that to happen," Williams said. "I don't know that we'd want it to be an official appearance, because then you'd have to restart the clock on his Hall of Fame status."

He said that the thought of retirement has crossed his mind but he is still waiting for teams to call. Thomas has been working out for five months straight and indicated that only two teams have shown interest in him. He indicated that he is not looking for a part time role with any club. "I'm in the best shape I've been in probably the last 10 years. I didn't finish the season. I started training in September," Thomas said. |
