Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz (illness) might miss the game Saturday, May 19, against the Philadelphia Phillies due to illness. If he is able to play, he is scheduled to play first base. He battled illness Friday, May 18, but was still able to make a pinch-hitting appearance, grounding out in his only at-bat.
