Free-agent 1B Daryle Ward (Diamondbacks) was suspended 50 games Wednesday, Jan. 25, for testing positive for a banned amphetamine under the minor league drug program. Free-agent RP Dustin Richardson (Braves) was also suspended 50 games for testing positive for several illegal substances.
