Sosa wants to have more plate opportunities and the Rangers could not guarantee him the amount of at-bats he would like after the additions of OFs Josh Hamilton and Milton Bradley. "Sammy is very grateful and thankful to Texas for giving him this opportunity and for being receptive to bringing him back this season," Adam Katz, Sosa's agent, said.
