"There are things on the table that I have to accept or not accept," Sheffield said. "Right now I have not made up my mind." The New York Mets have not contacted him. Sheffield said that his body is in shape and ready for the rigors of another season. "I am in tip-top shape," Sheffield said. "I am healthy and I have been working to get back to where I need to be. I am feeling great and I lost 15 pounds, down to 212."
