The San Jose Mercury News's Laurence Miedema reports Oakland Athletics IF Mark McLemore (knee) is exercising a devil-may-care attitude for the remainder of the season, choosing to give his knees a workout even though he knows he's risking injury. "It's not going to get any better, it's just a matter of trying to go as much as I can go, as hard as I can go without blowing out the knee," McLemore said. "But at this time of the season, you've got to go. If it blows, it blows. If it holds, it holds."
