Matthew Leach, of St.Louis.Cardinals.MLB.com, reports St. Louis Cardinals OF Eli Marrero threw out two runners and guided four pitchers to a six-hit, two-run performance Thursday, March 22, as he is trying to make the team as the third catcher and utilityman. Marrero has hit .292 with eight RBI, five walks and only one strikeout this spring.
