"He's not in very good shape, but he's very natural," Carroll said. "He's got terrific instincts for catching the football and getting in and out of breaks."

Free-agent WR Antonio Bryant (Bengals) is in Washington to participate in the Seattle Seahawks' minicamp, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Bryant is taking a physical for the club. Bryant has not played in the National Football League since 2009 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, but never played a game for the Bengals due to an ongoing knee injury.

Free-agent WR Antonio Bryant's (Bengals) career could be in jeopardy because of recurring knee problems that date to the 2009 season, according to two league sources, reports Jason Cole, of Yahoo! Sports. "He barely practiced in training camp and now this happens," said a league source with knowledge of Bryant's knee problems. "The guy can't stay healthy at this point. He gets to the point that he's feeling good, then it swells on him again. When that keeps happening, that's a very strong indication that there are structural problems."
