Houston Astros 1B Carlos Lee (ankle) said his sprained left ankle is improving, and that he hopes to return next week. "It's not my call, but I hope to give it a shot," Lee said. "It's feeling better. Still a little sore. I won't know for sure until I get in for treatment (Monday, April 30) and move around a little bit."

Houston Astros 1B Carlos Lee (hamstring) went 1-for-3 in his spring debut Tuesday, March 6, and said he felt fine. "I felt like I was in a good position to hit," Lee said. "The timing was a little off, being the first time out there in a real game. But I like the way I had a good approach today and stayed back and used my hands. It's all about timing now."
