According to The Washington Post's Marc Carig, the acquisition of OF Josh Willingham from the Florida Marlins is creating a logjam in the outfield. In addition to Willingham, the Nationals also have Lastings Milledge, Elijah Dukes, Austin Kearns and Wily Mo Pena among those competing for the three spots.

"The expectations were, you know, 40 home runs, 120 RBIs, this and that, and I felt they were very high. On the field, he's one of the best in right field. He can field, he can throw, he's accurate. He plays hard, no one can accuse him of lollygagging here, ever.
