Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager Mike Scioscia said Saturday, May 18, that he is hopeful OF Torii Hunter (personal) will be able to return from the restricted list on the team's road trip.

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Torii Hunter will return from the restricted list when his son's case is resolved. Attorney Todd Shapiro said the case could be close to reaching a conclusion.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are unsure when OF Torii Hunter will return from the restricted list. "From today, I don't think it's going to be weeks (until Hunter returns)," manager Mike Scioscia said. "But Torii has a personal issue. He's going to get whatever time he needs to to feel comfortable enough to come back and play baseball."

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Torii Hunter was put on the restricted list Monday, May 14, because his son was arrested in Texas earlier in the day. Hunter's son was one of two adults arrested during a month-long investigation of sexual assault of a child, which is a second-degree felony.
