Jack Etkin, of InsideTheRockies.com, reports that the Colorado Rockies have agreed to terms with OFs Alex Escobar and Bronson Sardinha, 1B Josh Phelps and P Chris Gissell on minor league contracts. They will have the opportunity to make the club's Triple-A Colorado Springs roster during spring training.

Escobar went 0-for-5 in his first appearance for Columbus Thursday, July 12, and he will be in left field upon his return, according to manager Manny Acta.
