Confirming an earlier report, Erstad will receive a base salary of $750,000, while the team will have a $3.5 million option for 2008 with a $250,000 buyout. Further, the 2008 option price could increase by segments up to $6 million if he reached 600 plate appearances, with the buyout increasing as well to $1.25 million.
