ESPN.com's Keith Law reports the Toronto Blue Jays were offered a 19-year-old New York Mets 3B David Wright for OF Jose Cruz Jr., but Blue Jays general manager declined it. According to Law, who worked in the Blue Jays front office at the time, Ricciardi's response was "I'm not trading a major league player for some guy in the Sally League."
