Former NFL SS Darren Woodson said that players in the league today are not good tacklers. Woodson feels players are looking to make big plays rather than display proper technique. "Look at the Packers and how they tackle," Woodson said. "They are terrible. It's the worst I've ever seen in my life. I love Charles Woodson, but it's either the spectacular play or the guy's getting an extra six or seven yards. They are all trying to make that big play."

Dallas Cowboys S Darren Woodson (back) will not practice this week as the window for his potential return from offseason back surgery continues to narrow, reports Rob Phillips of DallasCowboys.com. The Cowboys reinstated Woodson for practice Nov. 8 after the veteran safety spent the first six weeks of the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list while he recovered from July surgery to repair a herniated disk. Since the Cowboys declared him eligible to practice, they were given a three-week roster exemption, which expires Nov. 30.
