Sports Network reports Kansas City Royals minor league SS Luis Ugueto was suspended for 30 games Tuesday, Aug. 16, for a second violation under the minor league drug prevention and treatment program. He was previously suspended for 15 games in May.

The Kansas City Star's Bob Dutton reports Kansas City Royals RP Shawn Camp (wrist) suffered a bruise above the left thumb on the inside of the wrist after getting hit by a line drive off the bat of IF Luis Ugueto while throwing batting practice. "X-rays are negative," Camp said. "There's a little swelling, but I'll be all right. They're going to monitor it and see how the swelling reacts."
