Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys S Keith Davis is the current leader in the battle to become the team's starting free safety. He has been in close competition with S Lynn Scott. "He's doing well and I think he's a good player," head coach Bill Parcells said Wednesday, August 10, of Davis. "If I had to start the season today, he would start. I don't know where it's going to finish up. But if I said, OK, we have to play today, he would start."
