St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Matheny seems to be leaning toward keeping an extra infielder over having three catchers on the roster. INFs Tyler Greene, Daniel Descalso and Skip Schumaker will battle for the second base job, and SS Alex Cora could also be a factor.
