Updating previous reports, Chicago Cubs 3B Corey Koskie has announced his retirement, according to Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times. He felt lightheaded after diving for a grounder Thursday, March 19, although it wasn't clear if it was related to the post-concussion syndrome he had been battling for two years. Koskie said he may consider returning to the game as a coach in the future.
