Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun (back) hasn't been in the lineup the past few days, but manager Craig Counsell remains hopeful the slugger will be ready for Opening Day.
Fantasy Tip: Beware of investing too much on draft day into Braun, who has been dealing with soreness in his surgically-repaired back. Owners already know that he is one of a handful of players capable of posting a 20-20 season while also contributing in all five categories, but recoveries from back injuries (and surgeries) are among the trickiest things to predict. View him as a high-upside second outfielder for now.

Former MLB player and current Milwaukee Brewers front-office member Craig Counsell will be the new Brewers manager, effective immediately.
Fantasy Tip: Injuries to Jonathan Lucroy and slow starts by Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez may have doomed Roenicke from the start. Counsell's hiring should not change players' fantasy values much, but it will be interesting to see his strategies.
