Rangers | Adrian Beltre activated, Kevin Kouzmanoff to DL

Fri, 25 Apr 2014 14:18:04 -0700

The Texas Rangers are activating 3B Adrian Beltre (quadriceps) from the disabled list Friday, April 25, and putting 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff (back) on the DL with a herniated disc in his lower back. It hasn't been determined if Kouzmanoff will need surgery.

Fantasy Tip: Beltre is back in the lineup Friday night. Get him back into your lineups. Kouzmanoff was a nice surprise in Beltre's absence, but it looks like that may be the last we see of him for a while. There's a decent chance he'll need surgery to correct his back problem.

Rangers | Adrian Beltre to return

Fri, 25 Apr 2014 09:55:39 -0700

Texas Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre (quadriceps) is expected to be activated from the disabled list Friday, April 25, and be back in the lineup after missing time with a strained quadriceps muscle. "I've been ready to go since a week ago Tuesday," Beltre said during the Oakland series. "I was ready then, I'm ready now."

Fantasy Tip: Be prepared to put Beltre back into your starting lineups immediately. Unfortunately, this likely ends the unlikely contributions of Kevin Kouzmanoff, who is dealing with some back issues now.
