The Chicago Cubs named David Bell their new third base coach Tuesday, Oct. 23, and removed the interim tag from hitting coach James Rowson. The team's coaching staff is now complete for next season.

Former Major League Baseball IF David Bell has been named in the Mitchell Report. Bell reportedly received six shipments of HCG in April 2005 while playing for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Milwaukee Brewers 3B David Bell (headache) was scratched from the starting lineup, Friday, Sept. 15, against the Washington Nationals, because of a migraine headache, according to Howard Fendrich of the Associated Press. He was replaced in the lineup by 3B Jeff Cirillo.

Adam McCalvy, of Brewers.MLB.com, reports Milwaukee Brewers 3B David Bell had a big day at the plate Wednesday, Aug. 16, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bell went 4-for-5, including hitting the go-ahead two-run single in the top of the 13th in the Brewers' 5-2 victory.
