Wed, 29 May 2013 11:53:18 -0700 The Philadelphia Phillies placed 3B Michael Young on the bereavement list Wednesday, May 29, and recalled INF Cesar Hernandez from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. Fantasy Tip: Young could miss as few as three games. Freddy Galvis will likely shift over to third base in the meantime, and any combination of Hernandez, Kevin Frandsen and Michael Martinez could play second base. Only Galvis should be owned in very deep leagues with Chase Utley (oblique) on the DL.
Mon, 20 May 2013 14:36:11 -0700 Philadelphia Phillies 1B Ryan Howard (knee) was diagnosed with a change in the meniscus in his knee and inflammation Monday, May 20, and he's listed as day-to-day. He received an injection in his knee Sunday, May 19. Fantasy Tip: With Howard out Sunday, Michael Young shifted to first base and Freddy Galvis manned the hot corner. This is likely what the Phils will go with for however long Howard is out. Galvis will become an NL-only infield target if Howard needs to go on the disabled list.

He's hitting just .211 in his first 21 plate appearances this spring, but he said he's feeling good and hasn't gotten enough at-bats yet.

Revere has hit leadoff in 130 career games, 87 games in the No. 2 spot and only 12 games at eighth in the order. For the games at the top of the order, Revere has a combined on-base percentage of .325 with 70 stolen bases and a .285 average. There is still a possibility that 3B Michael Young could hit second behind SS Jimmy Rollins, though. The team will use Revere in various spots in the lineup this spring to see where he fits best.
