The witness list for the perjury trial involving former San Francisco Giants OF Barry Bonds has been disclosed, according to The Associated Press. The list includes former baseball players Bobby Estalella, Armando Rios, Marvin Benard, Benito Santiago, Randy Velarde and Jason Giambi's brother, Jeremy Giambi. Estalella is expected to testify that Bonds told him he used steroids. The prosecutors will call the other retired players and former football player Larry Izzo to the witness stand to discuss their steroid use.

The Chicago Tribune reports former major league 2B Randy Velarde, who began his playing career with the Chicago White Sox in 1985, has been named in the just-released Mitchell Report on steroid use.

Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams of The San Francisco Chronicle are reporting former San Francisco Giants players Marvin Benard and Benito Santiago, and former Oakland Athletics player Randy Velarde, are the three other players who received steroids from BALCO, the San Francisco-based lab indicted on steroid charges.
