The Florida Marlins have terminated the contract of 2B Pokey Reese, after having not received an explanation for his sudden disappearance from spring training camp, according to the Associated Press. "I think that the 72 hours that have passed is more than a reasonable amount of time for him to offer some explanation for his unexcused absence," general manager Larry Beinfest said. "We still do not have that explanation, and we're moving on."
