Padres.MLB.com's Mike Scarr reports San Diego Padres 2B Jose Nieves went 4-for-4 with three doubles, an RBI and scored three runs Thursday, March 11. "He was flawless today," Padres manager Bruce Bochy said. "That's what you want to see when guys come over here and get a chance to play and take advantage of it and he has. Obviously the way he's played we're all taking note."
