The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced Monday, April 21, the team signed former NFL WR David Boston (Buccaneers). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Stephen Thompson, of The Tampa Tribune, reports free-agent WR David Boston (Buccaneers) pleaded no contest Wednesday, April 16, to a charge of reckless driving. Judge William Overton sentenced Boston to six months probation and ordered him to attend DUI school. He was also ordered to serve 50 hours of community service and pay $615 in investigative costs and a $500 fine. If Boston fulfills his obligations and attends DUI school, he has the right to buy out of his 50 hours of community service and ask for early termination of his probation. His attorney, Wes Trombley, said Boston will be joining the Canadian Football League.

The St. Petersburg Times reports former Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR David Boston pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of GHB. Boston's attorney, Ronald Hanes, appeared for him and entered the plea. A hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13.

Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports the Pinellas Park, Fla. Police Department has revealed that Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR David Boston tested positive for GHB after he was arrested for driving under the influence. The Buccaneers have not commented on the situation since they said they were confident Boston was innocent two weeks ago. Boston faces a misdemeanor DUI charge.

The Buccaneers have not decided on what to do with Boston.

The St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR David Boston participated in practice Friday, Aug. 24, and could play in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 25, against the Miami Dolphins. Boston was arrested for driving under the influence Thursday, Aug. 23, but the Buccaneers believe the charges will not stick.

Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR David Boston was arrested Thursday, Aug. 23, and charged with driving under the influence, according to the Tampa Tribune. Boston was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle with the engine still running. Boston explained to police that he had traveled from a celebration in Orlando and was headed to the Tampa International Airport. Although breathalyzer tests showed that there was no alcohol in his system, Boston was also given a field sobriety test, at which point it was determined that there was probable cause to arrest him and charge him with driving under the influence of a controlled substance or alcohol. Police are waiting on results of Boston's urine tests.
