Debbi Baker, of The San Diego Union-Tribune, reports free-agent 2B Marcus Giles (Phillies) was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 7, on charges of domestic battery involving his wife. His wife told officers she was making a citizen's arrest on her husband for battery. Giles was taken into custody and is being booked on charges of domestic battery on a spouse.
