Washington Nationals 1B Matt Stairs is likely to serve as the designated hitter in American League parks during interleague play against right-handed pitching, but position players might get a chance to DH, too. "I may pick a day or two to give a position a rest and let them DH, and have somebody else play their position, whether it's (OF Jayson Werth) or (2B Danny Espinosa), guys who are pretty much playing every day," manager Jim Riggleman said.
